The Philadelphia Regional Arts Consortium was created by the Theatre Alliance of Greater Philadelphia. Now managed by The Wilma Theater, the Consortium manages a pooled database of ticketing clients to promote collaborative marketing and advanced web-based customer service. The operating system for this database is the Tessitura Software®, an innovative program originally developed by the Metropolitan Opera that integrates all ticketing, marketing, and development functions into one software package.
Those interested in joining the Philadelphia Regional Arts Consortium can do so by acquiring a sublicense for the software from the consortium. This opportunity provides a long-range solution to the participants' marketing and development software needs and provides greater efficiency in all ticketing and fundraising endeavors. Technical and training support is provided by a dedicated Tessitura staff.
