Mission
The Eagle Theatre is a multi-functional venue that promotes the intellectual and economic development of its local residents and the greater region though the creative and educational endeavors of professional and non-professional companies and individuals. The revitalized historic building preserves the integrity of the community spirit through riveting programming in a versatile space that includes the entertainment of the fine and performing arts, the excitement of academic discovery, and the encouragement of civic participation.

Description
Built in 1914 and closed in 1929, the Eagle Theatre began as a silent movie theatre house. Since that time it has been used for many purposes, though none as exciting or vital as its revitalization for the presentation of the fine and performing arts. This multi-purpose venue in the heart of Hammonton's downtown is located in Southern New Jersey, exactly half way between Philadelphia and Atlantic City, and is accessible by bus, train, or car. The Eagle Theatre is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that supports arts awareness through expanded programming for the benefit of all residents in the local community and larger regional area.
