How do we strengthen and lead?
The Greater Philadelphia region is home to well over 100 producing theatres with a broad spectrum of size and diversity. From our main stage theatres, managing multi-million dollar budgets, to the smallest companies endeavoring to nurture new works, each contributes its unique voice to Philadelphia's arts community, adding to its richness and creative vitality. Over 350 stage productions serve more than one million theatergoers each year. One in every four productions in a world premier.
The Theatre Alliance of Greater Philadelphia is the only local service organization dedicated exclusively to theatres, promoting positive awareness of the art form, engaging audiences and strengthening industry capacity. By pooling resources, sharing ideas and creating a unified marketing voice, the Theatre Alliance is able to strengthen and lead the theatre industry toward continued diversity and vitality.
