Montgomery Theater Junior will present "The Shoemaker & the Elves," a one-act musical by Karen Boettcher-Tate, music & lyrics by Larry Nestor as part of the Access Education program. This show, staged on the theater's original Project Stage, opens Saturday, May 19 at 5:30 pm & 7:30 pm, and runs through May 27 at 4:00 pm. Other performances dates are Sunday, May 20 at 2:00 & 4:00 pm, Thursday & Friday, May 24 & 25 at 7:30 pm, and Saturday, May 26 at 5:30 & 7:30 pm. "The Shoemaker & the Elves" is based on the classic tale of a kindly shoemaker with a gentle heart and little money who gives an old beggar woman his last pair of shoes. While he sleeps, five eccentric and endearing elves emerge and from scraps of material make the finest shoes the village of Clankbottom has ever seen.

The theater is located at 124 Main Street (Route 113), Souderton, PA, midway between Hillside Ave. and West Chestnut St. The Project Stage entrance faces the public lot behind the theater, where patrons may park for free.
