The Ritz Theatre Presents "Lost in Yonkers" For Immediate Release: August 8, 2006 The Ritz Theatre Company presents Neil Simon’s comedy “Lost in Yonkers” September 7 through October 7, 2006 at the historic Ritz Theatre, 915 White Horse Pike, Arts District, Haddon Township, NJ. “Lost in Yonkers,” the Pulitzer Prize winning comedy by noted playwright Neil Simon, takes place during the summer of 1942, when a recently widowed father in search of employment sends his two young sons Jay and Arty, to stay with their stern Grandma Kurnitz and their childlike Aunt Bella in Yonkers, New York. Rich in humor, Simon’s play takes an intimate look at the relationships within a Jewish family. The cast includes: Corbin Abernathy of Philadelphia as Eddie. Ginna Higgins of Cherry Hill as Grandma Kurnitz. Ernie Jewell of Haddon Township as Louie. Connie Giordano of Phoenixville, PA., as Aunt Bella. Maureen Corson of Blackwood as Gert. Alex Pappaterra of Blackwood as Jay. William Ackerman of Alloway Township as Arty. Producing artistic director Bruce A. Curless of Haddon Heights. Stage direction by Esther Flaster of Medford. Costume design by Trish Reichfeld of Voorhees. Set and lighting design by Russell McClesky of Morrisville. Sound design by PJ Music. Performances: September 7 - October 7, 2006.
