A struggling painter announces to his best friend that he is engaged to be married to a no-nonsense Texas socialite, but he confides he has three problems. One, he has an odd fetish and his fiancée doesn’t know. Two, his psychiatrist has no cure. And three, disaster is imminent as his wedding night approaches. Perfectly poised between daffy comedy and believable human neurosis.
