WHAT:
This Valentine's Day The Philadelphia Orchestra joins forces with the Philadelphia Shakespeare Festival for "In Love with Shakespeare," a romantic evening of music and verse. The program features favorites by Mendelssohn and Prokofiev, with scenes from Shakespeare's plays, including Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Night's Dream. David Hayes, music director of the Philadelphia Singers Chorale, leads the evening's program. "If music be the food of love, play on!"
