See It In Philly First!

Philadelphia is widely recognized as the birthplace of our nation, but less often recognized for the role it has played in the development of American theatre - from the very first American play, published here in 1787, to America’s oldest enduring playhouse, The Walnut Street Theatre, still in operation here after more than 200 years.  Even today, with over 100 new works produced on our stages each year, Philadelphia endures as the birthplace of American Drama.

With this listing of new plays and musicals, we invite you to see it in Philly first!
