Since 1997, Theatre Exile has mounted over 24 full-scale productions including 8 world premieres and 4 Philadelphia premieres. The materials chosen by Theatre Exile have been equally unique and challenging, ranging from classic revivals to premieres by local playwrights to environmentally staged ensemble created productions. In recent seasons, Theatre Exile has produced the world premieres of John Lumia's Amputation Nation and Bruce Graham's The Philly Fan, revived classics like Ionesco's Rhinoceros and Gombrowicz's Princess Ivona and staged modern pieces like DeLillo's Valparaiso and Letts' edgy Killer Joe.
