Background

  • Sue is originally from Becket, MA and began her theatre career in the Berkshire County theatre scene. Her illumination artistry has been seen in theatres on the East Coast and in the Midwest. Notable lighting design accomplishments include: premiere opera The Life and Love of Joe Coogan, live performance featured in WHYY's 2009 Mid-Atlantic Emmy award-winning program On Canvas featuring Andrew Bird, the UW-Madison production of Crumbs From the Table of Joy directed by Woodie King, Jr. of the New Federal Theatre, design for the New York premiere of Algerian White archived in the permanent collection of the New York Public Library for Performing Arts at Lincoln Center. Currently Sue is the lighting coordinator for the Zoellner Arts Center at Lehigh University and an adjunct faculty for the Department of Theatre.
