  • Robert Bauer is a founding member of The Drama Group in Germantown (www.thedramagroup.org) where he has acted, directed and designed shows since 1980. His most recent directing assignment for The Drama Group was "The Women" by Clare Boothe Luce. His most recent stage role was that of Father Stanley in "Hail Mary!" by Tom Dudzick, at Montgomery Theatre. In addition to his many roles with The Drama Group, he has also appeared as a Townsperson and understudied in "Our Town" at the Arden where he also understudied the role of Beverly in "August: Osage County", Kappelmeister Bono in "Amadeus" at the Wilma, Father Doherty in "Angels Fall" with Simpatico Theatre Project, Dr. Tutuev in "The Swedish Match" with Red Square Theatre, Rutherford Selig in "Gem of the Ocean" at Bushfire Theatre, and played both good and evil Duke brothers in "As You Like It" with Shakespeare in Clark Park. He played the featured role of Walt Conlin in the short film "Lemonade" and has recorded radio spots for SEPTA.
