Organization Description

Philadelphia Theatre Company is the only theatre in the region with an "all premieres" policy. Nowhere else can you experience the thrill of thought-provoking new plays by our country's most fascinating writers, all in one high voltage season. All performances take place at our resident home, the Suzanne Roberts Theatre, located at 480 S. Broad Street (Broad & Lombard Sts.) in Center City Philadelphia.

Philadelphia Theatre Company is dedicated to presenting the Philadelphia and World Premieres of major works by contemporary playwrights, with an emphasis on American drama. We seek to develop an audience of open-minded theater-goers and cross cultural, ethnic and social lines by producing drama that is, at once, challenging, entertaining, and imaginatively staged.
