Maggie Cummings is a recent graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Theatre. While at Tisch, she studied with the Atlantic Theatre School and The Stonestreet Acting Workshop for Film and Television. In the spring of 2009, Maggie studied Shakespeare in Performance at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, England. While there, she played both Katherine and Jaquenetta in Nick Hutchenson's production of Loves Labors Lost, as well as Lucio in Brian Sterner's Measure for Measure. She also played the title role of Joan la Pucelle (the character of Joan of Arc) in Associate Director Geoff Bullen's adaptation of Henry VI. Maggie was given the opportunity to perform in NYU's mainstage production of Buried Treasure directed by Kay Matschullat, a piece celebrating female playwrights and played  Mrs. Racket (The Belle's Stratagem), Madame Neilson (Les Blancs), and Bart Henley (So Help Me God!).

Along with fellow actors from The Atlantic Acting School, Maggie is a founding member of Fabrefaction Theatre Company based out of Atlanta, GA. In addition to adding numerous technical credits to her resume (Stage Manager for Beauty Queen of Leenane, Asst. Costume Designer for Little Women, and The Wedding Singer among others), Maggie has been given the opportunity to perform roles such as Hope Cladwell in Urinetown: The Musical, Meredith Parker in Bat Boy: The Musical, Sara Jane Moore (understudy) in Assassins: The Musical, and Mary Magdalene in The Last Day of Judas Iscariot. She also Asst. Directed Assassins and was the Musical Director for the kids show (1st-6th grades) The Elves and the Shoemaker.
