Organization Description

ComedySportz is Philadelphia's longest running improv comedy show. Since 1993 ComedySportz has been entertaining fans with the fastest and funniest form of improv comedy ever seen. Two teams of improvisers vie for points in a hilarious competition by playing a series of improv games, similar to what you may have seen on TVs Whose Line Is It Anyway? A referee governs the action, calling fouls and keeping the match moving at a blistering pace. The audience is always a part of the interactive show. ComedySportz performs every Saturday night at 7:30 and 10. ComedySportz also has a kids show, ComedySportz for kids, the last Sunday of every month and a Friday night series of shows the last two Fridays of every month called Final Fridays. Organization Mission:

ComedySportz, a member of an international organization of over 20 cities, is an improv theater company that entertains audiences with improv comedy shows all year, every Saturday. Our mission is to provide quality entertainment appropriate for all ages, as well educate students in the art of improv through an education department, as well as a high school league. Our company also offers remote shows to private organization, companies, schools and beyond. In addition, we strive to create a creative environment within which our resident improvisers can grow.
