Organization Description

Bridge Players Theatre company was founded in 1976 by Girard Paolini and Joseph LaCerra. In 1976, Mr. Paolini, a pharmacist from Palmyra, NJ, wrote a musical called Let's Wave the Flag Once More which was staged as part of Palmyra's bicentennial celebration. At the conclusion of this successful production, the participants decided to form a community theater organization, which they named "Bridge Players" due to the proximity to the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge. We now hold our performances at the Broad Street United Methodist Church, 36 E. Broad Street, in Burlington, N.J. We generally present four productions a year - a musical, a children's show, a dinner theatre and an additional comedy or drama.

Bridge Players Theatre Company, a community theater group based in Burlington, NJ, is dedicated to presenting high quality, affordable theatrical productions to the community. We offer opportunities, both on and off stage, by encouraging an active and diverse membership. We invite people of all ages and from all backgrounds to celebrate their individual talents and their mutual passion for live theater.
