Bill D’Agostino is the Communications and Education Director for Act II Playhouse, where he will serve as assistant director for the upcoming production of Time Stands Still. Bill received his MA in theatre from Villanova University and his BA in theatre arts from Brown University. Bill's original play for kids, Fairy Tale High School, won Montgomery Theater's first adaptation contest and premiered on MT's Project Stage. Bill is a theatre instructor at Perkiomen Valley High School, through Montgomery County Community College. As a theatre educator, he has also taught for the YMCA of the Upper Main Line, Gamut Theatre School in Harrisburg, and various schools in Rhode Island and Pennsylvania. As a dramaturg, his credits include The Mystery of Irma Vep, Sylvia, The Pride of Parnell Street, The Tempest (Act II); Big Boys, Alice in Wonderland (Montgomery Theater); Raising Jo (PlayPenn); Medea (Villanova Theatre), and Humor Abuse(Philadelphia Theatre Company, Assistant Dramaturg). Bill was an award-winning journalist for newspapers in California and Maryland. He served on the 2010 and 2011 Literary Committee for the Philadelphia Young Playwrights and was a Literary Intern with the Philadelphia Theatre Company.
