Props Master, Delaware Shakespeare Festival

The Delaware Shakespeare Festival creates professional theatre and educational programs for residents and friends of the State of Delaware. Now in its eighth season, DSF is proud to be in residence at historic Rockwood Mansion Park in Wilmington, Delaware.

(Posted 2/25/2011) The ideal candidate for this position is highly motivated, self sufficiant, and willing to spend time to research, source items and purchase (locally, online, borrowing, renting). Must be local to the area (Philadelphia, South Jersey, Delaware). The props will include: small hand props, furniture, set dressing, building, and repurposing. This is a great opportunity for creative and inventive property artisans. We are looking for a canadite who will be able to manage time, predict his/her needs and lead-time, delegate tasks to others when necessary, and be willing work some long hours out doors. Applicant must have a car to use it for his/her needs. Helpful pieces we find helpful to own: Printer, personal hand tools, sewing machine. This year's production is A Winter's Tale. The dates are as follows: First Rehearsal: Friday, June 17 Rental Pick Up:Friday, July 8 Load-in: Saturday, July 9 Tech: Sunday, July 10 Opening: Friday July 15
