(Posted 5/13/2011) The Walnut Street Theatre offers a unique opportunity to learn and gain experience working with a comprehensive theatre education department that impacts over 100,000 students per year.  The Education Apprentice will gain experience as a teaching artist and in theatre administration.

The program is a full-time commitment that may require some weekend/evening hours.  Apprentices receive a weekly scholarship of $300, individual HMO medical coverage, free tuition to Theatre School classes, free gym membership and free tickets.  The term of this scholarship is July 5, 2011 – May 31, 2012.  Must be responsible, punctual, cool under pressure, and able to multi-task.  BA/BFA or equivalent experience is desirable.  Previous teaching and arts administration experience a plus.  Diverse candidates are encouraged to apply.
