(Posted: 1/10/12) The Walnut Street Theatre, Philadelphia, PA is accepting applications for its 2012-13 Apprentice Program. Applicants are sought in all areas including: Acting (4), Audience Services (3), Carpentry (2), Casting/Literary Management, Costumes (2), Education/Teaching Artist, Fundraising, General Management, Grants, Marketing, Props (2), Public Relations, Running Crew/Stage, Scenic Painting, Shop Management, Stage Management/Production Management (4), Subscriptions and Wigs/Costumes.

The program is a full-time commitment with a weekly scholarship of $300, individual HMO medical coverage, gym membership and free tuition to Theatre School classes. The term of scholarships vary, but may begin as early as July/August 2012 and will end by June 2013. BA/BFA or equivalent experience is desirable. Actors must sing and minority performers are especially sought.
