(Posted 9/12/11) Arden Theatre Company, a professional regional theatre in Philadelphia, seeks an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to help manage marketing efforts for a busy department. Responsibilities include updating and managing the Arden blog; facilitating multimedia content creation; assisting in the coordination of promotional events; overseeing community relationships; program ad sales; internal and external distribution of collateral materials; coordinating all mailing aspects; maintaining marketing archives; and tracking and reporting on all campaigns. We are seeking a self-motivated and highly organized team player with 1-2 years of performing arts/entertainment marketing experience. Other requirements include strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, a passion for the arts, and a sense of humor. This is a full-time, year-round position with benefits.
