(Posted: 2/16/12) Three lead roles available for the first “webisode” of QUICK & DIRTY MUSICALS; a web series of 15 minute musicals.
Looking for two men and one woman, all appearing between the ages of 20-27. Please prepare a monologue of one minute or less and a pop or rock song to perform with sheet music (accompanist provided). If you do not have a monologue prepared, sides will be provided. Lastly, please bring a resume with a headshot attached.
MICHAEL
Baritone. Shut in agoraphobic who has fallen in love with Clair through an online dating site. MUST BE ABLE TO IMITATE A STUTTER. Lonely, suppressed, naive.
PETER
Tenor. A “straight-again” Christian and Michael’s Neighbor. FLAMBOYANT/EFFEMINATE, cheery.
CLAIR
Mezzo Soprano. The girl next door. Ballsy, witty, brash.
There is no financial compensation for this film, however, you will be fed during production days of 5 hours or more. You will also be provided with copy of the episode and all of your footage as well as a produced soundtrack with your vocals. Lastly, we will be happy to complete a film reel for you with any material you wish to include.
Auditions will be held this Sunday, February 19th between 10am and 2pm and again on Monday, February 20th between 6pm and 10pm. Both auditions will be held in Room 607 in the Terra Building at 211 South Broad Street. Production dates would be between February 24th and March 10th.
