(Posted 7/12/2011) EgoPo Classic Theater will be holding auditions for the world premier of The Golem- an ensemble-created theatrical event that uses drama, performance, live music and puppetry to bring the old Jewish myth to life for an adult audience. The piece will be performed March 28th through April 15 at the Prince Music Theater. Equity and Non-Equity contracts are both available. Auditions will be held Sunday July 24, 5-10pm and Monday July 25th, noon- 5pm. Artists who would like to show any musical skill should attend Monday's auditions.  Actors will be asked to prepare a short piece that showcases storytelling talents, as well as show any musical abilities. If you would like to be considered for an audition slot, please email your head shot and resume to egopo.auditions@gmail.com. In the BODY of the email, please list ALL four of the following points: 1. Your availability during July 24th and July 25th( so we may assign you a time slot. Musical audtioners should come on Monday). 2. Any instruments you play. 3. Any experience with puppetry. 4. Any experience with devised or created pieces. Please note that skills in music, puppets or devised work is not a prerequisite for casting.
