The Auditions will be held on June 7, 8, & 14 at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre, home of Philadelphia Theatre Company, located on 480 South Broad Street (corner of Broad and Lombard Streets).
Application Information
The application will be sent to Individual Members via email the week of January 18. Applications will be posted here on our website and available to the public the week of February 1.
» Please note: Not all applicants will be accepted into the Annual Auditions. Payment of the non-refundable $25 fee or and up-to-date Individual Membership in the Theatre Alliance does not guarantee you a slot at the Annual Auditions.
Audition Etiquette Class (Monday, May 24 @ 7pm)
At the Playground at the Adrienne Theatre located at 2030 Sansom Street, Philadelphia.
» Led by a panel of theatre casting professionals who regularly attend the Auditions. Topics will include audition protocol, selection of audition material, and preparation. There will not be an opportunity for any individual coaching. All applicants and non-applicants are invited to attend; the workshop cost is a non-refundable $10.

Private Coaching
Barrymore-Award winning actress & local director Madi Distefano is offering this special opportunity to those who apply for the Annual Auditions. The Private Coaching includes: one 45 minute one on one session plus one 3 hour “dress rehearsal” with other actors. There are no refunds. Including this service does not guarantee you an Audition timeslot; however, the techniques and skills you will learn will be applicable to any audition. You may also receive coaching for more than one monologue. Coaching slots are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

What Are The Annual Auditions?
Each June, the Theatre Alliance coordinates an audition with local actors for its organization members. This program gives local actors the opportunity to be seen by over 50 professional theatre representatives at once. The auditions are instrumental in helping our member theatres cast their shows for the upcoming season
