About Us

Theatre Philadelphia is a leadership organization formed by several local theatre leaders after the closing of the former Theatre Alliance. Theatre Philadelphia administers the Barrymore Awards for Excellence in Theatre and seeks to encourage awareness of professional theatre in the Greater Philadelphia area. We also seek to identify and build upon opportunities that will strengthen Philadelphia's theatre community as a whole while engaging foundations, corporations, and individual donors who are invested in the health and vitality of theatre in our city.

What is the status of my member profile and membership with the former Theatre Alliance?
During this period of transition, members of the former Theatre Alliance have continued to enjoy free access to TAGP member profiles and other website services. We are now ready to complete the website transition, and all existing profiles, events, and member accounts will be removed on Saturday 4/26/14. If you have profile information that you wish to download for your records, you must do on or before Friday 4/25/14. If you need help, please contact us at email@theatrephiladelphia.org.
